South America
South America has a very strong “cultural Catholic” tradition that combined with a socialist culture and much political instability has led to discrimination against evangelical Christians in some countries and bloody persecution in others. A largely poor population allows for these projects to have a great impact when we show what followers of Jesus will do to serve the needy. Outreach and educational ministries that focus on teaching high-value skills produce permanent transformation in villages and rural areas while also testifying to the love of Christ. Governments are now generally friendly toward missionary activities, and great work can be done here.
