January 28th, 2022. The date that the Lord touched and changed my life forever. It was on this night, on the floor of my residence hall's basement bathroom, that my heart was touched by the Spirit of the Lord. He showed me how I had been lying to myself all of my life. Telling myself that I was following him while I had zero actions in my life that reflected the goodness of the Lord. Because of what the Lord did on that night, I can humbly say that I have been sober from the addiction to alcohol, drugs, sexual immorality, and more. He saved my life in such an incredible way, and I feel so blessed that I now get to live my life as a vessel for him. 

A few short months after my sobriety date, the Lord started to lay the vision of this mission trip on my heart. I was connected with missionary contacts in Tenwek, Kenya who were recent Asbury University Alumni. For the past year and a half, the vision and dream of making a trip to Tenwek has been growing in my heart. The Lord has continuously stewarded and guided me on this journey of planning this endeavor. Whether it would be Him allowing connections to be made, providing dates and travel arrangements, or just providing the freedom to go; it has been so evident that the Lord's hand is on this trip. 

There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord is calling my team and I to go to Tenwek. That this is his will and will be a trip solely for him. A full trust in the Lord is over this trip; in all things and in all ways. It is my ask as a brother in the faith that you would join us in prayer, finances, and support for what the Lord is going to do in Tenwek! That you would be praying for safe travels, for a true kingdom impact during the trip, and for the financial requirements to be met for the trip. That you would join along with the stewardship of God's finances and donate to a trip he is orchestrating so intricately. That you would follow along and support the lives of God's children in Tenwek that we pray we can touch in such a special way!
