Kids’ Curriculum

These pages were created to help you get the kids in your life excited about and involved in missions. Whether you’re a family member, friend, Sunday School teacher, or Vacation Bible School director, we hope you find this curriculum to be a valuable resource in your ministry.

Go, Grow, Change!

The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:12 NIV)

God created us to grow and change, just like all the plants and trees we see around us. We must keep learning to love, to be brave, and to share the good news of Jesus with others. So, we will be exploring the theme “Go, Grow, Change” together this year. Each month, we’ll be taking a look at a different part of growth and change and looking at stories from the mission field that relate to these stages.

God is an amazing gardener! Let’s see what He has in store for us in 2017.

Roots: The Sinking of the ZamZam

What can we learn from Christians who lived long before us? In 1941, during the middle of World War II, a group of missionaries was sailing to Africa when their ship was torpedoed by a German ship. However, God protected them, and they all survived the sinking. Read and memorize Hebrews 12:1, a verse that reminds us that we are not alone in serving God; many have gone before us and many will come after us. Then, help the missionaries in the story set sail through a maze to return to their mission field.
