Kids’ Curriculum

These pages were created to help you get the kids in your life excited about and involved in missions. Whether you’re a family member, friend, Sunday School teacher, or Vacation Bible School director, we hope you find this curriculum to be a valuable resource in your ministry.

Go, Grow, Change!

The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:12 NIV)

God created us to grow and change, just like all the plants and trees we see around us. We must keep learning to love, to be brave, and to share the good news of Jesus with others. So, we will be exploring the theme “Go, Grow, Change” together this year. Each month, we’ll be taking a look at a different part of growth and change and looking at stories from the mission field that relate to these stages.

God is an amazing gardener! Let’s see what He has in store for us in 2017.

Rain: El Camino Restoration Home

In the middle of what feels like a bad storm, God can still sprinkle down good things that help us grow. For homeless kids and teenagers in Bolivia, He sends some of these blessings through El Camino Restoration Home. Instead of knowing hard concrete, crime, and helplessness, these kids get to know Jesus, learn to live like Him, and have a family that loves them. Isaiah 45:8 helps us understand God’s plan in helping all people know who He is. You’ll do a fun crossword puzzle and be encouraged to donate—with an adult’s help—some of your things to a place that helps homeless people in your community.
