These pages were created to help you get the kids in your life excited about and involved in missions. Whether you’re a family member, friend, Sunday School teacher, or Vacation Bible School director, we hope you find this curriculum to be a valuable resource in your ministry.

Go, Grow, Change!

The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:12 NIV)

God created us to grow and change, just like all the plants and trees we see around us. We must keep learning to love, to be brave, and to share the good news of Jesus with others. Let's look at stories from the mission field that relate to different parts of growth and change. God is an amazing gardener!

Sprout: Summer Bible Camps in Arizona

Have you ever seen a seed beginning to sprout? A tiny, green leaf, the very beginning of a stem, pushes up through the dirt. From above ground, it’s the first time we can see that a seed is turning into a plant. When God’s Word takes root in peoples’ hearts, it also grows up like little sprouts, showing new life. You’ll read about a place on the American Indian Field in Arizona that plants the seeds of God’s Word in kids and helps them grow. You’ll also build a “sprout house,” a fun picture of new growth.
