Jordan Riggenbach

Hello! My name is Jordan Riggenbach and I will be serving in a small village in Albania!

My first exposure to missions was a 10-day sports trip to Albania my senior year of high school. This was my first experience out of country, and I absolutely loved both the missionaries in Albania that I was serving alongside of, and the locals that I was serving. This was a mission trip that turned out to have a much bigger impact on my life than I could have imagined.

The Lord had an amazing way of bringing me back to that same small village in Albania two different times in the following two years. Now I feel that He is leading me to serve there on a part-time basis for the next couple of years.

I have had the opportunity to be ministering to a group of disabled adults via gym class, craft time, class time, and just playing cards and drinking coffee with them (I don’t really like coffee, but will do anything to love God and love others!).

I also spend a lot of time with the youth out there. I play volleyball, setup up event nights for them, and help coach in their soccer school. The vast majority of my time is spent loving and caring for them and building up relationships.

Praise be to the Lord for the way that He is working in Albania! I am so thankful for the way that He is revealing a side of Himself through His pursuit of the people in Albania! All glory to HIM!
