Después de nuestro tiempo sirviendo como docentes en el Centro de Aprendizaje La Vid, y de habernos dedicado a tiempo completo a la evangelización en centros de rehabilitación en San Felipe, así como a impartir estudios bíblicos a mujeres, niños y matrimonios, una iglesia ha sido establecida en esa ciudad bajo la cobertura pastoral de los directores del centro. Además, un segundo grupo está siendo discipulado por otra familia pastoral.

Llegamos a Saltillo, Coahuila, únicamente con la idea de explorar posibilidades ministeriales, sirviendo como consejeros y orientadores en una de las universidades —ya que las mismas autoridades nos solicitaron apoyo para los estudiantes debido a un alto índice de suicidios— y colaborando en la unificación de los pastores de la zona norte.

Sin embargo, Dios abrió otra puerta de manera inesperada en una escuela secundaria. Conocimos su historia: la institución fue fundada con principios y valores cristianos, los cuales se fueron dejando de lado con el tiempo. Actualmente, muchos estudiantes sufren de ansiedad y ataques de pánico. Han decidido reestructurar toda la planificación escolar y traer nuevamente a Dios al centro de su labor, invitándonos a ser parte de su equipo; no solo para ayudar a los estudiantes, sino también para acompañar al personal y a los padres de familia a través de la enseñanza de la Palabra de Dios. ¡Dios nos ha sorprendido más de lo que imaginábamos!

After our time serving as teachers at the La Vid Learning Center and dedicating ourselves full-time to evangelism in rehabilitation centers in San Felipe—along with leading Bible studies for women, children, and married couples—we are grateful to share that a church has now been planted in that city under the pastoral care of the center’s directors. In addition, a second group is currently being discipled by another pastoral family.

When we arrived in Saltillo, Coahuila, it was simply with the intention of exploring new ministry opportunities. We began serving as counselors and mentors at a local university, responding to the administration’s request for help after a troubling rise in student suicides. We also partnered in efforts to unite pastors from across the northern region.

Then, in a way only God could orchestrate, another unexpected door opened—this time in a secondary school. We soon learned that the school had originally been founded on Christian principles and values, but over time those roots had faded. Today, many of the students struggle with anxiety and panic attacks. The school leadership has made the courageous decision to restructure their entire program and to place God back at the center of their mission. They have invited us to join their team—not only to minister to the students, but also to walk alongside the staff and parents, teaching and encouraging them through the Word of God.

We are in awe of how God continues to surprise us, often beyond what we could have imagined. For this new chapter, we are deeply grateful for your prayers and for any support the Lord may place on your heart to give.
