Karen Fernández
Karen Fernández (Argentina) was born into a Christian family. Under the influence of her grandfather guiding her in the Word of God, she knew she needed to repent and be forgiven, which she did at age 14. Through the testimonies of other missionaries, God put a call in her heart to serve in missions. The Word had transformed her own life in so many ways that hearing there were people without access to it in their language challenged her to prepare in cross-cultural missions. She joined Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL) to train in linguistics and Bible translation. She is currently fulfilling that ministry in Papua New Guinea through SIL and as part of the WGM ministry family.
