Julia Spriegel
“Here I am, send me.” This was my response in high school when I felt God calling me to serve Him in missions. It was no longer my parents’ calling, now it was mine. Since I was a child, I had witnessed the Gospel being lived out every day. One day I was helping build a house in a village when God used a toddler with a burn wound to call me into nursing and to return to Kenya. I came to love the Kenyan people. I believe working on a cardiac progressive care unit for the past three years has given me valuable experience in nursing care, patient education, and leadership which I will be able to use at Tenwek Hospital.
