“Here I am, send me.” This was my response when God called me to missions in high school. Growing up, I saw the Gospel lived out daily, but a trip to Kenya helped clarify His direction for my life. While helping build a house in a rural village, I was asked to care for a toddler with a burn injury. As I taught the mother how to treat the wound in her mud hut, God planted a clear calling in my heart—to become a nurse and return to serve in Kenya.
Since 2023, I have served as a cardiac nurse at Tenwek Hospital, providing Christ-centered care to patients and their families. It is a privilege to witness God transform lives both physically and spiritually through medical ministry.
Beyond the hospital, I participate in Rheumatic Heart Disease screenings, helping provide early intervention and preventive education that saves lives. I also direct Bible Quizzing, where more than 500 students each year are memorizing Scripture and learning to share their faith. In addition, I provide administrative support to Peris Rotich, Director of Tabitha Women’s Ministry, a network of about 300 Bible study groups discipling women in western Kenya. Whether through nursing, discipleship, or community outreach, my passion is to see lives transformed by the Gospel. I am grateful for God’s call to Kenya and remain committed to serving Him wherever He leads.
