Dakota Poole

Hello! My name is Dakota Poole, and I will be serving with WGM in Japan!

I'm 23 years old and a recent graduate of Asbury University with a bachelor's degree in creative writing (and a minor in Christian ministries). Thus, I'm a lover of all things literary, an avid mocha enthusiast, and most importantly, a servant of Jesus.

God placed Japan on my heart fairly soon after my call to missions through a video about the history of Christianity in Japan. Ever since that seemingly mundane discovery—that the once prevalent church community in Japan has been, in years past, reduced to 1% of the population—I've felt God's call to join His story of restoration and redemption by going on mission.

I'm grateful for support of all kinds, and welcome all whom God would likewise call to join His ministry in Japan. Thank you so much!
