Prayer Lifeline: November 2026
As the year starts to come to an end, we are filled with gratitude in response to what God is doing in the nations. Please join us in prayer for the following!
Missionary Focus | Jonathan and Lisa Mayo
Jonathan and Lisa Mayo serve primarily in Uganda, and they are passionate about sharing Christ with students. They get to disciple these students and send them out to share His love with the world. Representing dozens of nations, these students are reaching classmates and children, and graduates are carrying their faith into their professions and home countries.
The Mayos praise God for His work at two University Discipleship Camps in Kenya and Uganda, where more than 400 students gathered for teaching and prayer. Across the camps, 81 students committed to go wherever God leads them to share His love with the world. Please pray that these 81 students will grow in faith and walk boldly in their callings. Pray that the leaders following up with them will be strengthened as they disciple them. Lastly, pray God will guide preparations for the next camps in Kenya and Uganda in 2027.
Prayer Team Returns from Czech
The prayer team of six returned from Czech with grateful hearts, encouraged by the ways they saw Jesus at work. Through prayer walks, church gatherings, English classes, reading with children, and conversations over meals, they built meaningful relationships while sharing the hope of Christ.
God is so good! One especially joyful answer to prayer came when a woman placed her faith in Jesus after an afternoon of conversation and prayer with a member of the team. The team also shared testimonies and prayed for local schools, students, teachers, churches, and revival throughout Poděbrady and the nation. Thank the Lord for His guidance, the gift of rest, and opportunities to serve through both planned gatherings and unexpected encounters.
Please keep praying for the faith of new believers to deepen and that many more would come to know Christ through the seeds planted. Lisa Fish said, “We’re coming away with faces, names, and dear ones to pray for. And we are so thankful to have been honored to be there. Czech, if this is your future generation—the ones seeking Jesus—then you’re in good hands! Praise the Lord!” Pray also for future teams and the people God might call to go, that He would make the path abundantly clear.
Prayer Points for November
- Please join us in praying for those affected by the Ebola outbreak in Kenya. Pray for healing for patients, comfort and strength for their families, and protection, wisdom, and courage for healthcare workers. Pray for our global workers at Tenwek Hospital in their efforts to contain the outbreak. Their Ebola task force is actively monitoring developments and working to ensure that they are prepared to respond appropriately if needed. One practical need is ensuring they have adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect our healthcare workers and patients.
- Please keep both the Navajo and Hopi Nations in your prayers. Heavy rains have caused major flooding all over northern Arizona, southern Colorado, and New Mexico. The San Juan River has flooded and is affecting several communities in the Four Corners region, where several WGM missionaries serve. Please pray that damage caused by the flooding will be minimal and the river will recede soon!
- Pray for college students who are exploring God’s call to missions. Ask the Lord to give them wisdom and courage as they consider short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunities to serve.
