Prayer Lifeline : October 2023
God is on the move! We’re seeing hearts stirred and new opportunities for growth, and it’s because of your prayers. Will you continue to pray for the work being done for His kingdom?
University Discipleship Movement
WGM missionary Jonathan Mayo has worked with the University Discipleship Movement (UDM), a Bible study and fellowship-focused ministry to college students in Uganda, for at least 16 years. They recently held their first camp in Kenya, after which Jonathan reported, "We had around 112 students, which is really good, for our first camp. Twenty students came forward on Sunday sensing a call to missions." Will you pray for continued wisdom, guidance, and clarity for UDM during this exciting time of the Spirit’s moving?
Salt and Light Trainings
Mark Landerholm, a WGM missionary in Hungary, and Holly Mueleisen, a WGM missionary in Japan, led a Salt and Light evangelism training for missionaries and church leaders in Papua New Guinea and Cambodia. Will you pray that the fruits of this training will go beyond anything we can even imagine and lead to the spreading of the Good News to those who have not heard?
New Missionaries
You’ve been praying with us for more workers as part of the Luke 10:2 Challenge! This month, several possible new missionaries will be meeting at WGM headquarters. Will you pray for these meetings taking place and that God will continue to provide more missionaries to tell others about His Good News.
Increase in Numbers
The Asbury Global Café is a weekly, WGM-sponsored missions service at Asbury University. Students have been attending in record numbers this year! We praise God for this answer to prayer and ask that you lift up the logistics involved with having so many students. Ask God to continue providing in the midst of such a major missions interest and movement!
