Tenwek Hospital: Cardiothoracic Equipment and Startup Costs
The AGC Tenwek Hospital Cardiothoracic Center, dedicated in October 2024, is currently the largest such center in Sub-Saharan Africa and will meet the needs of thousands of patients per year. We have begun to equip this large facility for all the needs of a complete open-heart surgical center, cardiac catheterization lab, and an esophageal cancer center. All funds raised through the Tenwek Cardiothoracic Equipment Fund will go toward providing the highly specialized equipment and start-up costs needed for the Tenwek Hospital Cardiothoracic Center.
