Short-term Missions Trips

Short-term Service: Encounter Missions

You can be a part of the amazing things God is doing around the world. Short-term trips are an ideal first encounter with missions or for anyone who wants to put their passions to work on a grander scale. Likewise, youth groups, college groups, or small groups can spend a couple of weeks intentionally serving and learning about God from others in a different culture. No matter your vocation or stage in life, going on a one- to two-week trip with a group of people is an impactful experience.

How often are trips available?
Teams are welcome to set their own dates. We will then confirm those dates with the local global workers. Teams should plan to apply six months before they would like to serve to allow plenty of time to prepare and raise support.

The majority of teams go for a week to 10 days. However, if you plan to serve in Africa, it is best to go for at least two weeks because of the long travel time involved.

Teams can be as small as four people, but an ideal team has 10 to 15 members. Some locations can accommodate even bigger groups.
How much does a trip cost, and what does the price include?
Prices are determined by where you go, how long you stay, airline travel costs, etc. Team costs include airfare, food, lodging, transportation on the field, insurance, and ministry money.
