Ching Ching and Lapman Lun
For many years, the mission field in Asia have been a part of our lives. We took many short term trips, specifically to the country of Cambodia, where the Khmer Rouge has destroyed the health care system by eliminating the entire educated class in the 1970s. To this day, Cambodians do not have adequate access to health care. But the most important reason we want to serve there is Gospel opportunities. Being a culturally Buddhist country, we found many people hungry for the truth of the Gospel, and the field is ripe for harvest! We are grateful for many friendships we have built over the last ten years, and we look for many more through mid term opportunities at Hebron Hospital in Phnom Penh.
Lapman is a Hematologist/Oncologist who is semi-retired, and Ching Ching has been a homemaker for almost 30 years. Together, we want to serve Christ with the skills He has given us. Ching Ching grew up in a Buddhist/atheist household and came to know the Lord at the age of 13. Her passion is to share her life with Cambodians, especially mentoring young believers who wants to grow in their faith. Lapman is passionate about medicine and teaching the next generation of Cambodian doctors while sharing with them the love of Christ.
