Logan Peters
Hello! My name is Logan, and I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am going into my junior year at Ohio Christian University as a transfer Biblical Studies student. I have hope that God is calling me to ministry despite who I am and what I have done.
I was raised in a wonderful Christian family as the oldest of four children. I attended church for my whole childhood through early adolescence, but when I got to my mid teens I started seriously falling for the lies of freedom that the world offers. I went through a long, self-inflicted season of loneliness, addictions, and depression. I had given up on life. I was an unredeemable mess.
Last year in February, the Lord YAHWEH changed everything. I was at my lowest and He revealed Himself to me through YouTube sermons. I started attending First Apostolic Faith Church in Akron out of a burning curiosity to get to know the God I grew up with, and that changed my life forever. It has been over a year of reading the word, prayer, fasting, working out, serving in the music ministry at OCU, and miraculous healing of the hurt that sin was causing me. It has been over 16 months of sobriety and I owe it all to God! I am still learning the denial of the flesh and way of the Spirit, but I have confidence in this opportunity that WGM is providing me with. Please consider donating!
