Supervision: Director of Communications
Job Purpose & Summary: The Project Manager exists to support missionaries, departments, and the Communications team by keeping communications work clear, organized, and moving forward. This role receives requests, coordinates details, and manages processes that turn ministry needs into practical communication materials. Through faithful follow-through and strong working relationships, the Project Manager plays an essential role in strengthening ministry partnerships and furthering the spread of the Gospel.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage communications projects from intake through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly tracked.
- Own and maintain the communications project management system (Asana) including task creation, deadlines (for missionary requests and content production), and status updates.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address bottlenecks, conflicts, or shifting priorities.
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications to adjust timelines and sequencing as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed to fulfill communications projects.
- Manage the Communications inbox and serve as the primary point of contact for incoming communications requests.
- Triage, clarify, and route requests appropriately, including missionary material requests and internal projects.
- Set and communicate realistic expectations for timelines and next steps.
- Coordinate the execution of digital marketing and promotional campaigns using established platforms and tools, such as Mailchimp and Feathr.
- Write and edit content as needed, including email campaigns, blog posts, magazine articles, and other written materials.
- Ensure campaigns and communications align with overall content schedules and initiatives.
- Coordinate communications deliverables for internal initiatives and events such as commissioning services and special campaigns.
- Track deadlines and materials related to events and collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Support the Communications team by maintaining clear, consistent workflows.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce friction within communications systems.
- Maintain organized documentation related to communications processes and recurring workflows.
- Carry out other assignments as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating projects, workflows, or operational processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana.
- Experience coordinating email or digital campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp.
