Prayer Lifeline: April 2025

Missionary Focus | Steve and Kelly Solheim, Honduras

Your prayers are influencing the pastors and leaders in Steve and Kelly Solheim’s community. The Solheims have been global workers in Honduras for several years, discipling and sharing the Gospel with their community.

One woman they have been discipling was struggling with her pastor because of a difference in goals for the ministry.

The Solheims helped the woman who was leading a new ministry and the pastor to establish peace and work together as one church. Please pray for more leaders to arise from the churches in Honduras. Ask that the Lord will embolden church attendees to become active participants.

Global Worker Training

At the end of last month, a group of new and returning global workers gathered at headquarters for BUILD training. This training is to help them prepare for building their ministry team.

As you pray, invite the Lord to continue the work He started in the global workers during training. Pray that God He will provide opportunities for them to connect with others and multiply their ministry teams.

Global Prayer Points for April

• At the end of last month, a team of students from Taylor University visited Gabe and Dahiana (Nardi) Ernst in Paraguay to serve the Aché Indigenous community. The scripture the students taught was on the book of Jonah, which was recently translated into the Aché language, meaning the people heard the Word of God in their heart language for the first time ever. Please pray that the seeds the Taylor students planted will continue to grow and that they will have left a lasting impression on the Paraguayan community.
• Irving and Estefanía Marmolejos led a short-term team in a work day with a construction group. The team got to share the Gospel with the leader of the site and even noticed one of the other workers taking interest in their conversation. They gave the construction worker a Bible that was signed by the whole team. Please pray that these construction workers will have open hearts and a desire to seek the Lord. Ask God to equip Irving and Estefanía with wisdom and discernment for how to communicate with the workers.
