Prayer Lifeline: December 2024
Missionary Focus
Elmor and Damary, Mexico
Marco and his wife were devout atheists when they met missionaries Elmor Benedith and Damary Benedith Rodríguez. Elmor and Damary had been friends with them for a while when Marco’s wife’s birthday came around.
They bought her a cake and, upon receiving the cake, Marco’s wife began to cry. Elmor and Damary worried they unknowingly did something offensive, but Marco’s wife was crying because of their act of kindness.
Because her birthday falls on Christmas, no one in her family had ever given her a cake before. Today, Marco and his family are followers of Jesus because Elmor and Damary were obedient to God.
Missionaries like them need your prayers. Will you pray that God will give them clarity and confidence in conversations with non-believers and that they will continue trusting Him?
Connections for the Kingdom
In November, the Mobilization team visited Lexington for an international missions conference. The conference was a space for missions workers to connect, hear testimonies, and share resources for the growth of the kingdom.
Mobilization had a couple hundred fruitful conversations with the attendees of this conference and had over 30 inquiries from people interested in missions service. Please pray that those who spoke with the WGM team would move boldly in God’s will and trust Him to provide for them.
Global Prayer Points for December
- Your prayers have been making an impact on the Texas/Mexico Border. Many pastors and their wives have expressed an increased trust during the ministry’s prayer time and shared that their spiritual and emotional needs are being met. Please pray that the Kingdom Builders ministry will continue impacting the leaders.
- Justin and Ashley Guest are feeling the impact of God’s work through them in Stockton, CA. Three women who they have been taking to church with them are signing up to get baptized! Praise God for their willingness to follow Him and pray for the work in their hearts to continue after their baptism.
- Will you pray for a new believer in Cambodia? Ratha, a college student in Jewel and Titus Romdenh’s dorm ministry, recently lost a close family member. Ratha is used to Buddhist funeral practices and called Titus in the U.S. with many questions about Christian funeral traditions. He has a desire to honor Christ through Christian practices despite his family’s Buddhist traditions. Please pray that Ratha will have peace in his relationship with God and courage to rely on Christ when his faith may be tested.
Thank you for praying. Your prayers are making an impact for the kingdom of God.
