Prayer Lifeline: November 2025
Hurricane Melissa
Last week, Hurricane Melissa made its way across the Caribbean, causing uncertainty and fear to spread across the area. Dierdre Graham, a WGM missionary located on the island of Jamaica, greatly needs our prayer support for herself and the people of Jamaica.
Please pray that the people in this area are safe from major damage and will draw near to Christ during this time. Ask the Lord to meet the needs of those who experienced loss and pray for their spiritual, emotional, and mental health in the upcoming weeks.
Upcoming Gen Z Conference
Next month, several of our missionaries and staff members will head to Phoenix, Arizona, for Urbana, a missions conference designed for Gen Z Christians. The conference expects about 10,000 people to attend and engage with global mission organizations.
We urge you to be bold as you pray for these young people. Pray that young people interested in missions will come to our booth and desire to be sent with WGM. Ask God to provide several new missionaries from this conference and that they will be equipped and ready to go to the field quickly.
Global Prayer Points for November
- Seth Porter, a WGM missionary, recently had an accident while building a shed at the Bible College in Papua New Guinea. Please pray for the Lord to heal his body quickly and that he won’t have any lasting injuries. Ask God to give peace and strength to the Porter family as they navigate how to proceed with the ministry.
- Steve and Kelly Solheim reported that this year has been their best year of ministry to date. Club Aslan, their board game ministry for youth, has been blessed with a great volunteer team. The volunteers even planned a two-day event for the missionary kids on the field while Steve and Kelly were in business meetings! Praise God for the work being done in Honduras. Pray that the Lord will continue the work He’s doing there.
- Last month, WGM announced that John Rinehimer will be our next president. Praise the Lord for His provision and wisdom in choosing the new leader of our organization. Pray that John will continue discerning the Lord’s will for him and WGM as we go into the future. More information about the presidential search is available on our blog.
