Engage in Missions Where You Are
SPRING/SUMMER 2021 | 2 MINUTE READ
Have you ever thought about becoming a missionary? Do you know a missionary serving cross-culturally? Are you interested in learning more about other cultures and the beautiful diversity of God’s people? Check out the resources we’ve gathered here!
Going to a ministry location might not be a possibility for you right now, but you can still engage in missions right where you are. Maybe your country still has strict COVID restrictions in place. Maybe you’re still in school and can’t uproot your life for missions work just yet. Maybe you’d love to visit a missionary you support, but the timing isn’t quite right.
This past year has required all of us to make adjustments to the way we do life. At WGM, we’ve had to rethink how to do missions when the world is mostly shut down. We’ve been inspired by people who have continued to remain active in missions without the opportunity to serve cross-culturally, at least not in a traditional sense.
If you’re currently in a season of waiting, we have compiled some of our favorite resources for you, from books and a podcast to digital resources and even a Spotify playlist. We believe these will enrich your view of the world God has created and better prepare you when you can go.
