Prayer Lifeline: August 2025
Missionary Focus | Osman and Leslie Echeverría, Honduras
Leslie Echeverría has witnessed the diligent prayers of God’s people come to life in the lives of the students at the Lempira School in Ciudad Nueva, Honduras. The program helps students grow academically, but the tutors have also observed an improvement in the students’ behavior in general.
Please lift up the students, tutors, and volunteers at Lempira School, inviting the Lord to encourage them in their faith. Ask that they will pursue a relationship with Him and that God would reveal His plans to them. Please also ask the Lord to energize Leslie, Osman, and their children to continue serving Him and others with joyful hearts.
Global Trips this Summer | Training and Teams
Please continue praying for the short-term teams serving this summer. Earlier this summer, a team visited Steve and Debbie Cartwright in Arizona and donated a van and built a storage unit for the church. The Cartwrights also had a few more teams serve last month who helped with a 3-day VBS.
Pray for the children who attended the VBS to remember the things they learned about the Lord and that He will continue working in them. Ask that He will send Christ-followers into these children’s lives that will to encourage and support them in their walk with Jesus.

Many of the missionaries who attended the recent WGM conference in Honduras are reporting back that they are praising God for the impact it left on them. Several say that they felt the presence of God while learning, worshipping, and fellowshipping with believers from around the world. Let’s praise God for His faithfulness and pray that these missionaries would continue to feel His presence as they serve.
