Missionary Focus | April Hershberger, Kenya

After years of praying for a home for our children with special needs at the Africa Gospel Church Baby Center, the new building is set to be completed this month! This new building will provide higher-quality care for the children and give them a space that feels like home. 

April Hershberger recently returned to Kenya. Please pray for the children moving into the new facility to adjust quickly to a new environment and that the building will be a place for them to continue to encounter the love of God. Lift up April, as well, as she ministers to the children of the AGC Baby Center. 

Global Trips this Summer | Training and Teams

Several teams went on short-term trips with WGM last month. As we continue sending out more teams this month, please pray for the team members who have already traveled to sustain a passion for ministry. Invite the Lord to nurture the seeds that the team members have planted in the people they served. 

At the end of June, many of our missionaries and support staff returned home from several days in Honduras for training and community building. Praise God for a great week of fostering relationships and energizing missionaries for another year of ministry! Please pray that missionaries will apply their training and remember how the Lord spoke to them during their week in Honduras. 

Global Prayer Points for July

• In June, we prayed for the short-term team that was visiting the Arnotts in Arizona. One of the young people who took a short-term trip earlier this year with the Arnotts has decided to participate in the Discovery Experience next semester. They are praising God for the guidance in this young person’s life and for the work the Lord has been doing through these short-term teams. Please pray that their community will continue to remain receptive to the Good News.

• Your prayers are bringing people to Christ in Europe! Several people at the church Bryan and Nashana Meese attend have made new commitments to Christ and been baptized. Please pray for their community to be energized by the new believers’ commitments and that they testify to the goodness of the Lord to their friends and family.
