Prayer Lifeline: March 2026

New Growth

Mark and Serena Dunbar recently met a former Work for a Living (W4aL) student, Mía, who was taught by one of Mark’s very first students. She’s now a pastor’s wife serving in a deeply impoverished and difficult area. Mía shared how she recently had the opportunity to witness to several women in her community and challenge some harmful teaching they were receiving.

The women in Mía’s community recognized that she came from the same circumstances they face, but her life has changed for the better. She shared how eager she is to pass on spiritual truths alongside the financial teaching she learned from W4aL. After asking if she could bring some of these women to the Dunbars’ training, they encouraged Mía to start her own group.

Every act of obedience to the Lord is used for His glory, but missionaries don’t always get the opportunity to see it firsthand. Pray for the Dunbars to be energized and refreshed to serve their community in Mexico. Please also pray that the women Mía serves will be impacted by her ministry and that her efforts would be multiplied.

*We are using the pseudonym of Mía in order to protect her identity.

Just Enough

Annette Lievaart recently began training five respiratory therapists at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya. In one of her recent newsletters, she asked her partners to cover costs for their lunches. The Lord covered the exact amount needed through Annette’s generous ministry partnership team—not any more or less.

Please pray for Annette to continue experiencing the Lord’s guidance over her life. Pray that she’s covered in patience, endurance, and wisdom as she serves the Tenwek students and community. Please also pray for the therapists Annette is training and for the patients they will treat.

Global Prayer Points for March
  • A missionary in one of our creative access countries has been having conversations with a young man who dedicated his life to Christ a year ago and recently expressed a desire to be baptized! Praise God for the work He’s doing in the lives of believers in creative access countries and invite the Lord to keep stirring the hearts of people to turn towards Him.
  • Starting in early January, a cold front came through Colombia, and heavy rain began to fall on the country. WGM missionaries are involved in relief efforts, but the people need prayer and the Lord’s intervention. Ask God to provide safety and protection to families in need. Also pray for the Lord to let His peace cover the people of Colombia.
  • Please lift up any missionaries facing burnout in ministry. Feelings of homesickness, exhaustion, or loneliness can make everyday tasks feel more difficult and even harder to talk about. Pray for the Lord to bless the missionaries with strength, spiritual renewal, and tender hearts for their community.
  • Please pray for peace amid the escalating violence in the Middle East and ask the Lord to guide global and national leaders with wisdom. Lift up believers who are facing persecution, imprisonment, and fear, and pray for courage, strength, and steadfast faith. Also pray that God would raise up support and encouragement for the church in these vulnerable regions, and that His presence would sustain families and communities affected by conflict.
