La Esperanza Community Development: #MENTOR
In Church culture, discipleship has come to mean formal Bible study. But at its heart, real discipleship is relationship. We take a holistic approach to walk alongside young people as they discover purpose, learn to make better decisions, overcome adversity and deepen their faith.
Our mentorship program is not a class, it's a series of intentional conversations and studies that help young people grow through:
- Serving at home, school, work, community and church
- Daily prayer and Bible reading
- Scripture memorization
- Weekly faith-sharing
- Building relationships with Christian role models
Through these steps, we're seeing young leaders rise up—ready to make a difference in their families, churches and communities.
