Presidential Crisis Relief
Hurricane Melissa has devastated communities across Jamaica. In Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland, missionary Deirdre Graham reports severe damage to homes and roads, compounding the hardship her community already faces. You can help right now: every gift will be doubled up to $10,000 thanks to a generous match, providing food and emergency relief. Your support today will bring hope, help, and the love of Christ to those in desperate need.
The President’s Crisis Relief Fund exists so that WGM can send emergency funds to our partners across the world. It’s impossible to plan for a crisis, but with your help, we can be prepared to send aid when our brothers and sisters in Christ face adversity like famine, natural disasters, and disease.
In the past, this fund has covered medical expenses, fixed essential facilities, and provided food for thousands of people during severe crop shortages. WGM was able to quickly and effectively distribute thousands of dollars in these situations through the President’s Crisis Relief Fund, our missionaries and partners on the ground who oversaw distribution, and through the generosity of people who give.
Here’s how you can partner with us in bringing relief and the love of God in times of crisis:
Pray: Pray that our ministries, churches, and partners across the world would be kept safe and continue to make disciples.
Give: Partner with us by giving to the President’s Crisis Relief Fund and being the hands and feet of Jesus to people in need.
