Southwest Ministries Team: October 2026
Opportunities
Team members will help with our annual Southwest Ministries Frybread Fundraiser, which supports the camp ministry that team members will participate in later in the week. Several days will be spent in a variety of Native American ministry opportunities. Possibilities are: visiting local Native American churches, encouraging pastors and/or local believers, light work project, and a cultural side trip. Friday – Sunday, Oct. 23rd-25th, team members will travel with campers to Prescott, AZ for the weekend teen camp and will participate in all camp activities. Following camp, team members will travel back to Peoria with campers and help with any camp clean-up. Monday October 26th team members will travel home.
The team will be hosted at both Siloam Indian Baptist Church on Gila River Indian Community and at the camp facility in Prescott, AZ.
Qualifications
- Be ready to engage in relational ministry with children, youth and adults.
- All mission experiences will give team members opportunities to share the love of Jesus through physical, spiritual and relational engagements.
- Team members must be able to get around moderate terrain and keep up with campers. Campgrounds are not handicap accessible. Due to nature of dorm style camping, 2 or 3 of each gender is best.

Cost
$1,025 + airfare/baggage (estimated $900)
This an estimated cost. Base cost includes all meals, lodging, field transportation, fees and projects. Airfare + baggage costs vary and will be determined at time of purchase.)
