Ministry Description
Trinity Church (Perth) has invited us to join them in their Love Perth initiative in August 2026. They are planning to host a variety of activities for children, youth, and families that will introduce people to Jesus. Furthermore, they would like to partner with the city council in practical ways in an attempt to love the city of Perth well.
Our team would join those from the church to participate in any number of initiatives from festivals in the park to witnessing on the street to local projects for the betterment of the community. The gift of working with Trinity Church is that our team can provide fresh energy, American accents, and renewed prayer to what local church members are wanting to see happen in their own community. Furthermore, although our team will leave, the church remains and can continue on in the relationships that are built and initiatives begun.
Quick Facts
- St. Ninian is often considered the first Christian missionary to Scotland around 397AD.
- Ironically, although Scotland had an early Christian presence, many believe the country is now classified as an unreached people group. There are very few (some estimates are less than 2%) evangelical Christians.
- Scotland boasts over 2,000 castles, palaces, and manor homes—300–400 of which are well preserved.
