Opportunities

If you know what to do with a 00 Miller, please, please, please come to Tenwek!  We are the only hospital for a several-hour radius which offers advanced neonatal care, such as surfactant, mechanical ventilation, TPN, and exchange transfusions, as well as surgery for neonatal conditions like meningomyeloceles, gastroschisis, or pyloric stenosis. We have full pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiac surgery support. Our NICU is busy with a typical census is in the mid-40s. In 2021 we started a new but growing NICU APP team (staffed with Clinical Officers who graduated our internship program) and so would appreciate a visitor both for clinical service and education.
