Ministry Description
The purpose of this role is to work with university and college students to reach and teach children and youth in schools and in the community biblical truths through school ministries, Bible clubs, VBS, storytelling, songs, games, and other creative techniques.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a calling and a passion to impact the lives of children and youth through evangelism and discipleship. He/she will work with a team that is already existing, providing leadership, support, and expertise in children and youth ministries.
Most of the schools in East Africa are open to the Gospel being preached in schools and thus this role provides a great opportunity to impact the emerging leaders for Africa. The language of instruction is English so there may not be needed to learn local language. The Bible clubs happen mostly in informal settlements in our cities and thus the need for patience and compassion in dealing with them.
UDM believes in Child safety and there is a policy to that effect.
We already reach more than 15,000 students weekly in High schools, primary schools and Bible clubs.
