Kenya: Volunteer Intern – Least of These Ministry

Opportunities

Are you a college student with a heart for missions and a desire to serve children and youth? The Least of These Ministry (LOT), a ministry of World Gospel Mission in Kenya, invites a female college student to join our field team in Nairobi for a hands-on ministry internship.

This internship offers a meaningful opportunity to use your gifts while learning firsthand how God is working through missions in an urban African context. You will serve alongside missionaries—including a nurse practitioner, occupational therapist, and teacher—and partner with local ministries to care for some of Nairobi’s most vulnerable children.

LOT partners with ten local ministries, providing healthcare, nutritional, and educational support to over 500 children, including orphans, abandoned children and babies, children with chronic illnesses, and children with special needs. We also mentor and support sponsored students, including college students.

This internship is a great fit for students studying or considering:

  • Children’s or youth ministry
  • Social work or education
  • Nursing, medical, or therapy-related fields

Ideal candidates are flexible, teachable, and eager to serve, with a heart for missions, a desire to support the global Church, and a willingness to grow spiritually and personally.

Length of Service

Mid-term: 1-12 months
