Ministry Description
Kibimba Hospital serves a large rural population where emergency care systems are still developing. Patients frequently arrive in critical condition due to delays in accessing care. Current challenges include the absence of ICU or high-dependency unit capacity, gaps in emergency triage and resuscitation systems, a high burden of trauma and sepsis, and limited training in critical care nursing.
An experienced ER/Critical Care Nurse can play a vital role in strengthening emergency services, improving survival outcomes, and building local capacity through training and system development.
