New Church Building in Aguascalientes, Mexico

Praise God; a miracle is happening in Mexico! He is drawing people to Himself. We have had meetings where various families have shown up, and we do not have space to receive them all. Currently, we have been meeting in a small one-car garage.

We need a larger building we can consistently meet in. After several months of looking for a building, we have found a building we can purchase for $420,000. The building has all of the spaces that we need, with a large meeting area on the first floor that can easily hold 200 people and three classrooms. The second floor has four decent sized classrooms. Each floor has a men’s and women’s bathroom. In addition, there is a mini apartment which would be beneficial for teams or interns to stay in. We would love to use this space as the local church building, a place to equip local leaders, and a missionary training center. There is a cost involved, but as we have looked at the space with a friend of ours who is a contractor, he has verified that it is an amazing deal. If we needed to buy land and build this space ourselves, it would be much more expensive.

We are in the process of speaking with the owners. We are trying to reach an agreement for a rent-to-own opportunity, because they have seen the good work we are already doing in the community. The owners are asking for a down payment by the end of April/May for half of the purchase price. The other half will be paid on a monthly rent-to-own basis, with no interest for the next three years.

We are looking for people and churches who are willing to be part of this miracle in Mexico. We need people to commit to helping us reach this down payment of $210,000 by the end of April/May. Currently, we have $26,000 towards the down payment of the building. The owner is willing to allow us to move the church into the building right away if we sign the agreement in February.

We believe that the local church has the potential to train, develop, and equip people. The local church can provide the opportunity to develop local missionaries and to host families, teams and interns from abroad who want to explore their missions calling.

As a church we want to model the calling and the potential King Jesus has for us in extending His kingdom. There is a need for healthy churches to be modeled. Our desire is that more families would be mobilized to serve in the areas God is calling them to. We are aware of the largeness of this dream and challenge, but we are taking a faith-filled risk.
