Context 

Escuela El Sembrador, a historic and respected institution in the region, has served generations of students since 1954. As it seeks to modernize and deepen its impact, the school looks for a visionary and spiritually grounded leader to serve as the General Director. This leader will not be the principal but will oversee and empower the principal, curriculum selection teams, and other key staff, ensuring the school advances its mission rooted in biblical worldview and holistic transformation.

Ministry Description

The General Director will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and spiritual oversight for all aspects of the institution. They will be responsible for cultivating a culture of personal holiness, passionate prayer, and discipleship, while leveraging the school's rich history, assets, and reputation to create an innovative, relevant, and biblically rooted educational environment. Their primary focus will be on guiding the principal and curriculum leaders to develop and implement programs that produce disciples who make disciples, nurturing a school climate that integrates faith into every aspect of learning and community life.

    • Ensure the responsible use of resources, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization, aligning all activities with the school's biblical and educational mission.

    • Lead the school through ongoing transformation, embracing innovation while respecting its historical identity.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an administrative field, educational management, or related area (required).
  • Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, school administration, or related field (required).
  • Deep personal faith and commitment to biblical principles; experience in spiritual leadership necessary. 
  • Proven success in leading or overseeing faith-based organizations involving an educational component, especially in contexts requiring cultural sensitivity.
  • Experience supporting or leading curriculum development with a focus on biblical integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams—particularly principals and academic leaders.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with a history of organizational transformation.
  • Experience in Honduras or similar cultural contexts is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish (required). Demonstrated English proficiency (intermediate-advanced level required)
