Uganda: University Discipleship Ministry Team
Opportunities
This trip to Uganda will be in coordination with a ministry called University Discipleship Ministry (UDM). UDM is a wholistic university and community ministry located in Kampala, Uganda. This ministry is heavy on evangelistic outreach on University campuses, neighborhoods, primary and secondary schools all over the region. Evangelism will be done with Ugandans to Ugandans and some 20 different nationalities including Somalis, Congolese, Sudanese, South Sundanese, Ethiopians, Eritreans and so many more. In addition to evangelistic outreach, this trip will allow the participant to engage in compassion ministries to those who are suffering in so many ways. Team members are encouraged to be ready to engage all the time in conversation and relationship development. This will be a wonderful exposure to a broad base of ministry opportunities and field resources in Uganda.
Training Provided
Participants will need to undergo a series of cultural awareness and ministry awareness trainings. These will be done online by the Team Lead:JW.
